1. The app, PatientPoint 360°, is an enhanced version of the company’s PatientPoint Interact and PatientPoint Access. PatientPoint Interact is a wall-mounted touchscreen device with 3-D anatomicals and patient education for the physician exam rooms; PaitientPoint Access is a physician medical news digital screen with real-time research summaries and business of medicine news.
2. Currently around 75 percent of physicians are using mobile apps at work, according to PatientPoint, and the app can help leverage this technology to improve the patient experience. Adults in the United States spend around 2.8 hours per day on their mobile phones.
3. The app is available in an exclusive first wave roll-out to healthcare providers in the PatientPoint network.
4. PatientPoint has been focused on physician engagement solutions at point of care for more than 25 years and has programs in more than 31,000 locations.
5. The app is available on smartphones or tablets.
