1. OrthoCarolina’s “Be Well” was ranked the 23rd best program in the United States and the best program in the Charlotte, N.C., region.
2. The top 100 list is curated by Healthiest Employers, a company that tracks and measures corporate health and wellness initiatives across the United States. For 2016, the company selected the top 100 companies from more than 4,000 applicants.
3. The list ranks companies based on six dimensions: culture and leadership commitment, foundational components, annual planning, communications and marketing, programming and interventions and reporting and analysis.
4. The “Be Well” employee wellness program is designed and managed by Charlotte, N.C.-based Elite Wellness, a corporate wellness consulting company. The program focuses on education, fitness, nutrition and health screening.
