Waltham, Mass.-based Northeast Orthopaedic Alliance named Stephen DeBiasi as its first CEO.

Mr. DeBiasi assumed the role on Feb. 23, according to a March 17 news release shared with Becker’s. He most recently served as CEO of Curi Advisory, and he also held progressive CEO roles at Durham, N.C.-based EmergeOrtho.

At NOA he will report to the board of directors and provide strategic leadership across all NOA divisions.

“I am deeply honored to join Northeast Orthopaedic Alliance at such an exciting moment in its evolution,” Mr. DeBiasi said in the release. “NOA has assembled an extraordinary collection of clinical talent and executive practice leadership. My focus will be on building the connective tissue that allows our physicians, providers, and teams to operate as one unified organization — all in service of delivering the region’s finest orthopedic care.”

NOA is comprised of five practices, and the combined divisions include 107 physicians across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 18–20 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
