Montana practice adds 1st spine surgeon

Spine surgeon Joel Torretti, MD, joined Northern Rockies Orthopaedics in Missoula, Mont., according to the Missoulian.

Dr. Torretti will be the practice’s first physician specializing in spine and neck surgery. He joins five other orthopedic surgeons.

Dr. Torretti was previously with Penn Highlands Healthcare, a five-hospital health system based in DuBois, Pa.

Dr. Torretti received his medical degree from Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey, where he also completed an internship and residency. Dr. Torretti completed fellowships at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., and University of Bern in Bern, Switzerland.
