Hospitalists make the following average compensation based on geographical region:

 

Northwest: $277,000

 

West (inclusive of Alaska and Hawaii): $274,000

 

South Central: $272,000

 

Great Lakes: $272,000

 

Southeast: $270,000

 

Southwest: $266,000

 

North Central: $259,000

 

Northeast: $251,000

 

Mid-Atlantic: $244,000
