Connecticut hospital & surgeon group to break ground on orthopedic ASC: 3 notes

Hartford, Conn.-based St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center and an orthopedic surgeon group will begin construction on an orthopedic and pain management ambulatory surgery center Sept. 21 in Hartford, HartfordBusiness.com reports.

Here are three things to know:

1. The $26.5 million, 33,000-square-foot Orthopedic and Spine Surgery Center is a joint project between St. Francis and Lighthouse Surgery Holdings.

2. The ASC will feature six orthopedic operating rooms, a procedure room and a 26-bay rehabilitation and physician space.

3. The Orthopedic and Spine Surgery Center will provide pain management services and serve patients with sports-related and spine injuries.
