Rockville, Md.-based National Spine and Pain Centers shut the doors on all of its North Carolina-based offices Sept. 14 due to Hurricane Florence.
Hurricane Florence made landfall Sept. 14 as a category 1 hurricane. Prior to making landfall, Florence was a category 2 hurricane. Thousands of residents have been evacuated, and the hurricane has dropped more than 30 inches of rain in two days, according to The New York Times.
The National Spine & Pain Centers that closed are in:
• Cary, N.C.
• Raleigh, N.C.
• Spring Lake, N.C.
• Pinehurst, N.C.
• Henderson, N.C.
• Fayetteville, N.C.
• Lumberton, N.C.
• Greenville, N.C.
As the hurricane continues to sweep up the coast, it is uncertain when the practices will reopen.
