Coastal Orthopedics physician president Dr. Arthur Valadie recognized for impact on community: 5 highlights

Manatee Chamber of Commerce honored Arthur L. Valadie, MD, with a volunteer award.

Here are five highlights:

 

1. Dr. Valadie, physician president of Bradenton, Fla.-based Coastal Orthopedics, received the Adult Volunteer Award from the Manatee Chamber of Commerce’s fifth annual Champions of Healthcare.

 

2. The chamber of commerce selected Dr. Valadie, among nine other winners, from a pool of nearly 70 nominations.

 

3. Dr. Valadie received the award for his impact on healthcare through service and commitment to excellence in Manatee County.

 

4. His work involves providing care for club travel teams and high school teams in the region as well as serving as the sports medicine physician for the Pittsburgh Pirates soccer team.

 

5. Dr. Valadie completed his orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
