Founded by Dr. Horace Townsend in 1972, the practice has grown exponentially, having expanded with new facilities and advanced technologies, including robotic-arm assisted knee replacement procedures. With a team of over 300 employees and 20 orthopedic surgeons, the practice continues to serve the community with cutting-edge care.
The practice includes orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, spine care, pain management, diagnostic imaging and physical therapy services.
The organization commemorated this milestone by treating its staff and families to a day at ZooTampa and organizing various celebratory activities, the report said.
