Germantown, Tenn.-based Campbell Clinic is partnering with Johnson City, Tenn.-based Ballad Health to launch the Appalachian Highlands Orthopedic Network, the health system said June 3.
The partnership will provide patients with greater access to orthopedic subspecialties and connects more than 60 orthopedic physicians and staff in the region.
Appalachian Highlands Orthopedic Network was formed in response to increased demand for orthopedic care, especially among aging populations. The network is designed for long-term sustainability by creating a stronger environment for physicians and enhancing clinical collaboration.
“There is exceptional orthopedic care across the region,” John Crockarell, MD, chief of staff at Campbell Clinic, said in a news release. “This partnership allows us to extend our expertise by working alongside local physicians – sharing knowledge, supporting complex care and helping ensure patients across the region receive the best possible outcomes.”
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
