Influence Healthcare signed a letter of intent to sublease and ultimately assume the master lease of a specialty hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area focused on spine and orthopedic surgery.

The 24,000-square-foot facility has four operating rooms and is expected to become the company’s first operational hospital, according to a Sept. 1 news release. Influence Healthcare expects to begin operating the hospital upon delivery of the premises, which is expected no later than June 1, 2027.

The agreement provides a pathway for Influence Healthcare to transition from a sublease to a full assignment of the master lease. The lease runs through Jan. 24, 2036, and the transition is contingent on operational, financial and regulatory performance criteria.

Influence Healthcare is a health-tech company focused on using AI and value-based care models in surgical specialties, according to the release.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
