American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives names 2 OrthoAtlanta executives to board of directors: 5 key notes

Two OrthoAtlanta leaders were named to the American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives board of directors.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. IntraHealth Group and OrthoAtlanta’s CEO Patricia Brewster and Chief Administrative Officer Kitchi Joyce were named to the AAOE board for a one-year term.

 

2. Ms. Brewster will serve her second year as the Annual Conference Committee Chair where she will ensure the conference committee goals are met with professional development, membership and addressing ancillary populations’ needs.

 

3. Ms. Joyce will be secretary of the board for the next year, responsible for documenting all of the board’s actions.

 

4. The AAOE includes more than 1,400 orthopedic practice executives, administrators, physicians and staff members striving for professional development and practice growth.

 

5. Ms. Brewster is a previous AAOE board of directors president and has served on the American College of Medical Practice Executives and American College of Healthcare Executives board of directors. Ms. Joyce has served on the board of the Georgia Association of Orthopaedic Executives.
