What you should know:
1. The Hand to Shoulder Center will be on AdventHealth’s Orlando campus.
2. The center will feature a walk-in clinic, a surgical center, a biomechanics lab, a skills and cadaver lab, a microvascular lab, and a teaching and rehabilitation center.
3. The center will also offer physicians access to a fellowship program.
4. Despite the partnership, Orlando Hand Surgery will remain independent.
5. The partnership will feature a unique ownership structure. Orlando Hand Surgery will provide clinical services, while AdventHealth is handling the diagnostic and rehab facilities. The parties will form a joint venture for the surgery center.
