Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center added Zimmer Biomet's ROSA Knee System for total knee replacement to its repertoire.

The key details to know:

1. The ROSA Knee System is a robotically-assisted surgical system designed for total knee replacement surgery. The system assists the surgeon through facilitating implant positioning intraoperatively.

2. The systems' computer software helps the surgeon move and control surgical instruments.

3. "For everyone involved — surgeons, medical staff and, most importantly, patients — ROSA Knee has the potential to offer a number of key benefits and advantages," Mississippi Sports Medicine CEO Glen Silverman said.
