8 orthopedic centers recently opened or announced

Becker’s Spine Review has reported on eight orthopedic centers opened or announced in the past month:

1. Newark, Del.-based ChristianaCare and Delaware Neurosurgical Group won approval for a joint-venture spine surgery center.

2. The Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center opened at the Atlanta Falcons’ Flowery Branch, Ga., training facility.

3. Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth broke ground on Rothman Orthopaedic Institute’s $100 million Florida headquarters.

4. The Connecticut Orthopaedic Institute opened at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport.

5. Aventura (Fla.) Hospital and Medical Center opened a 90,000-square foot tower that houses its Orthopedic & Spine Institute.

6. Kennewick, Wash.-based Trios Health opened a clinic focused on spine and interventional pain care.

7. Summit Orthopedics, a 50-surgeon practice in Woodbury, Minn., plans to build a 25,000-square-foot clinic in Lakeville, Minn.

8. Akron, Ohio-based Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center plans to open a $100 million hospital in Fairlawn, Ohio, this fall.
