Xtant Medical, curasan enter distribution agreement: 5 things to know

Xtant Medical is in a distribution agreement with curasan, a developer of biomaterials and medical device for bone and tissue regeneration.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. The agreement will give Xtant a line of synthetic scaffolds to add to its biologics portfolio.

 

2. Xtant is leveraging the agreement to bring Matriform to the market. Matrifrom is the company’s “brand of the curasan synthetic product portfolio for orthopedic applications.”

 

3. Xtant’s Matriform contains pure phase Beta-Tricalcium Phosphate and porcine collagen.

 

4. It features a mix of micro, meso and macro pores.

 

5. Xtant will offer Matriform in two formulations and multiple volumes for a range of orthopedic uses.
