Ohio clinic using biologic treatments

Fairlawn, Ohio-based Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center is using biologic therapies to treat anterior cruciate ligament and joint-related injuries.

The treatments promote the body’s natural healing abilities. Specifically, the clinic is using a technique developed by Paul Fleissner Jr., MD.

Dr. Fleissner developed the FlashFix procedure, which features arthroscopic repair combined with platelet-rich plasma to promote healing. He noticed that PRP helped promote soft tissue growth while increasing blood vessel counts, leading to decreased recovery times.
