Amplify can be used on its own or with autograft bone as a bone graft extender, according to a company news release. It comprises a hybrid mixture of surface-activated biphasic granules that reabsorb at different rates and support bone remodeling in fusions.

“The Amplify technology platform is intended to address critical gaps in current treatment algorithms while bringing greater efficiency to the surgeon experience,” John Brunelle, PhD, Ventris Medical’s COO, said in the release. “Our surface-activated granules combine the established clinical efficacy of traditional biphasic materials with state-of-the-art processing techniques, providing a bone graft that is more synchronized with the natural healing process.”
