Virtuos Lyograft is shelf-stable and a complete autograft alternative for spine and orthopedics, according to a July 26 news release. It was provided through Orthofix’s partnership with MTF Biologics.

“The Virtuos allograft is unique in the fact that it can be stored at room temperature and is ready to implant within two minutes of being hydrated,” Dr. Ellis, of Fort Worth, Texas-based Baylor Scott and White Surgical Hospital, said in the release. “This helps ensure we can always have an easy-to-use, moldable, complete bone graft on hand and it streamlines the preparation and overall surgical procedure time.”

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
