Dr. Jamie Antoine debuts CartiHeal implant in Washington

Jamie Antoine, MD, of Seattle-based Proliance Surgeons performed the first case using CartiHeal’s Agili-C implant in Washington state, according to a Jan. 27 LinkedIn post.

The Agili-C implant is made from coral and eliminates the risk of disease transmission from donor tissue. It is designed to address articular cartilage damage in the knee and promotes durable cartilage growth.

Dr. Antoine specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, according to Proliance Surgeons’ website.
