Biogennix named Michael Roux as the orthobiologic company’s new general manager.

1. Biogennix develops biologic products for spine fusion and orthopedic trauma applications.

2. Mr. Roux has nearly 30 years of technology and medical device industry experience. Before joining Biogennix, he led product management at Glidewell Laboratories, a dental products technology company.

3. Biogennix has also expanded its sales, marketing and research and development teams by hiring:

  • Jennifer Sorenson as regional vice president of sales
  • Valerie Powers as marketing manager
  • Savvas Papanicolaou as senior project engineer

4. The majority of Biogennix’s year over year growth is due to increases in sales of the company’s bone graft substitutes Morpheus and osteoSPAN, both of which are resorbable, osteoconductive scaffolds designed for for bone regeneration.
