Healthgrades recently released its rankings for the best hospitals in the U.S. for spine surgery, including three in New York. 

Here are eight health systems and medical centers that have added orthopedic surgeons since April 29:

The highest-paid orthopedic surgeon in San Francisco earns $909,200, according to Medscape's salary reporter tool, which is much higher than the mean annual wage of $378,250 orthopedic surgeons make according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
