Foundation Health Partners in Fairbanks, Alaska, will open the FHP Orthopedic & Spine Specialists Nov. 1.

Spine surgery is not something a physician can always do alone. Often spine surgeons will team up with physicians across specialties before, during and after a case.

Advanced Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is relocating its Owensboro, Ky.-based office in November.

Hamid Abbasi, MD, PhD, of Inspired Spine, will train Jose Jimenez-Almonte, MD, an Orlando-based spine surgeon, in the oblique lateral lumbar interbody fusion procedure, according to an Oct. 25 news release.

Indianapolis-based OrthoIndy named Brandon Smith as chief development officer.

David Skaggs, MD, and Theodore Goldstein, MD, are co-directors of Cedars-Sinai Spine Center in Los Angeles.

Aclarion partnered with Denver-based AdventHealth Porter Hospital to add the Nociscan system for identifying chronic lower back pain, according to an Oct. 25 news release. 

West Covina, Calif.-based Samimi Orthopedic Group partnered with Azra Care to automate workflows, according to an Oct. 25 news release.
