The case was done at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago, and Dr. Lopez’s patient was a 59-year-old with a collapsed C5-C6 disc, ZimVie said in an Oct. 31 news release.
The new 4.5mm height disc was approved by the FDA in August. It comes in seven footprints to match patient anatomy.
