Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Florida Adopts MAKOplasty

Lakewood Ranch (Fla.) Medical Center will offer MAKOplasty technology for orthopedic patients, according to a Bradenton Herald report.

The system, made by MAKO Surgical Group, cost approximately $1.4 million and allows specially trained surgeons to perform minimally invasive orthopedic procedures. The technology will be available to patients as early as November.
