Exactech Announces 2Q Revenue of $55.2M, Up 7%

Exactech, a developer and producer of bone and joint restoration products for hip, knee, shoulder, spine and biologic materials, has reported revenue of $55.2 million for the second quarter of 2012, a 7 percent increase over the second quarter of 2011.

Exactech’s business segments increased across the board in the second quarter, with the exception of its biologic and spine business, which decreased 1 percent to $5.9 million. The company’s revenue from knee implants increased 1 percent to $21 million; extremity implants increased 24 percent to $12 million; and hip implant increased 22 percent to $10.3 million.
