MAKOplasty Procedures Up 66% in Q2

MAKO Surgical announced nine RIO systems were sold in the second quarter, increasing worldwide sales to 126 RIO systems and domestic sales to 123 RIO systems.

In addition, 2,590 MAKOplasty procedures were performed in the second quarter, a 66 percent increase over the same period in 2011. The company also saw a 71 percent increase in MAKOplasty procedures in the first six months of 2012 compared to the same period in 2011.
