The American Medical Society for Sports Medicine partnered with OpenEvidence to develop AI-powered sports medicine educational resources for clinicians and patients.
The organizations will create a library of resources on current and emerging sports medicine topics for SportsMedToday.com, according to an Aug. 27 news release from the AMSSM. The website already features more than 300 tip sheets on sports medicine topics and conditions.
The materials will be available on SportsMedToday and OpenEvidence’s clinician website, which has supported more than 200 million AI-powered clinical consultations.
OpenEvidence will serve as the AMSSM’s exclusive GenAI partner and assist in developing sports medicine resources for clinicians, the release said.
