Smith & Nephew Appoints Baroness Virginia Bottomley to Board of Directors

Smith & Nephew has appointed Baroness Virginia Bottomley of Nettlestone to its board of directors as the non-executive director.

Baroness Bottomley is the director of International Resources Group. She is also the non-executive director of BUPA and a member of the International Advisory Board of Chugai Pharmaceutical Company.

During her career, she spent 20 years as a member of parliament and served as Secretary of State for Health and then for National Heritage.
