First Implantations of Integra LifeScience’s PyroTITAN Humeral Resurfacing Implant Successful

Integra LifeScience announced the first implantation of its PyroTITAN Humeral Resurfacing Implant for shoulder resurfacing.

The procedures were performed in Italy and Sweden. The system was designed for less wear than a metal resurfacing implant. It is intended for use in patients who have glenohumeral joint disease due to non-inflammatory, inflammatory and post-traumatic arthritis.
