Sanuwave Reports 10% Revenue Increase in 2011

Sanuwave Health reported $802,572 in revenue for 2011, a 10 percent increase over 2010.

The company attributes its increase to European sales of its orthoPACE. Research expenses in 2011 were $2.7 million, while general and administrative expensive toped $6.2 million.

Over the past year, the company published preclinical data on its ESWT technology to promote fracture healing and received a patent covering its invention and delivery methods for shock wave therapy treatment. The company also procured two CPT Category III codes for ESWT in wound healing.
