Illinois Bone & Joint Institute adds pediatric orthopedic surgeon

Des Plaines-based Illinois Bone & Joint Institute has added Michael Burton, MD, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, to its team.

Dr. Burton specializes in fractures, scoliosis, hip disorders, clubfoot and other complex musculoskeletal conditions in children, according to an Oct. 1 system news release. 

He has also participated in international medical outreach efforts, providing care to children in underserved regions of Colombia and Ecuador.

Dr. Burton is now seeing patients in Bannockburn, Des Plaines, Morton Grove and Wilmette, Ill.
