Warsaw, Ind.-based OrthoPediatrics Corp. has entered into a distribution partnership with Canada-based MY01 to expand access to its continuous perfusion sensing technology platform for diagnosing limb perfusion injuries in children, according to a Sept. 5 system news release.
The technology is designed to aid in detecting acute compartment syndrome, a time-sensitive emergency that can be difficult to diagnose in pediatric patients with fractures and traumatic injuries.
“This partnership isn’t just about scale, it’s about impact,” Andrew Morris, chief commercial officer at MY01, said in the release. OrthoPediatrics leaders also said the collaboration aligns with its mission to improve outcomes for children with orthopedic conditions through education and surgeon support.
