OhioHealth surgeon reaches 1,000th Mako case

OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital surgeon James Miller, DO, completed his 1,000th surgery using Stryker’s Mako robot, according to a May 28 news release from the health system.

He achieved the milestone as the hospital added a second Mako robot. It combines navigation, robotics and software to support surgeons in total and partial joint replacements.

Another surgeon in OhioHealth’s network, Lance Maynard, DO, is nearing his 2,000th robot-assisted joint replacement.
