An image identification and processing software platform for spine imaging, MSKai, has earned 510(k) clearance from the FDA.
The software has been approved for use by physicians and radiologists during lumbar spine MRI analysis, according to a May 22 press release sent to Becker’s.
The tool assists physicians in evaluating previously acquired T2-weighted lumbar spine MRIs. It allows users to perform anatomy segmentation, labeling, measurement and export of quantitative and qualitative results into customizable reports.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
