Illinois hospital adds 7D Flash navigation

Maryville, Ill.-based Anderson Hospital Surgical Services added the 7D Flash navigation system for spine surgery, according to a May 12 news release.

Brendan Fong, MD, of Neurosurgery of St. Louis, performed the hospital’s first case with the system.

The 7D Flash navigation system uses visible light for imaging to eliminate radiation risk.
