Cascade Medical had a U.S. distribution relationship with MTF prior to this sale. The company’s Cascade System will now be distributed by ConMed Linvatec. The system is cleared by the FDA and designed for use in the preparation of autologous PRP from a sample of the patient’s blood. The PRP can also be mixed with autograft and allograft bone before applying it to a surgical site.

The proprietary aspect of the technology is its ability to produce liquid, gel and membrane formats for PRP.
