International net sales grew by 12 percent to approximately $104 million, while U.S. net sales increased by 2 percent to $426.3 million. The company reported strong growth in its sports, extremities and trauma businesses, at 13 percent overall. Hip sales also increased by 7 percent worldwide.
However, the company’s spine and bone healing sales decreased by 5 percent worldwide. The company also reported a decrease in “other” products and biologics, which was offset by sales growth in the microfixation business.
