Great Falls Hospital adds Stryker robot

The Great Falls (Mont.) Hospital has added a Stryker Mako robotic system for total knee, partial knee and total hip replacements.

Robotic surgery allows for better analytics, outcomes and faster recovery for total knee, total hip and partial knee patients, according to a Feb. 6 news release. 

Total knee replacements are expected to continue growing in popularity in the U.S., increasing 189% by 2030 while total hip replacements are expected to grow 171% by then, according to the release.
