Matthew Beal, MD, of Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, performed the debut procedure. The GMK Sphere implant is a medially stabilized knee device.

Medacta’s GMK Sphere and GMK SpheriKA are part of Think Surgical’s ID Hub proprietary implant data bank, which the robot uses. The implants are the only medial ball-in-socket knee systems available to use with the TMini robot.
