Here are five orthopedic and spine surgeons who have operated on professional athletes, as reported by Becker’s since Dec. 4:

1. Robert Anderson, MD, performed arthroscopic ankle injury on Maxx Crosby, a defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders.

2. Sohrab Gollogly, MD, a surgeon and one of the founders of Monterey (Calif.) Spine and Joint, operated on UFC fighter Cub Swanson.

3. Harrison Tuttle, MD, a surgeon at Raleigh (N.C.) Orthopaedic, operated on Carolina Hurricanes center Jack Drury’s hand.

4. Brian Cole, MD, acting chair of orthopedic surgery at Rush University in Chicago, operated on Charlotte Hornets center Grant Williams.

5.  Bryan Kelly, MD, president, CEO and surgeon-in-chief emeritus of the Sports Medicine Institute for HSS, operated on Dallas Stars center Tyler Seguin.
