Stryker’s busy Q3: 8 updates to know

Here are eight updates on medical device company Stryker, including acquisitions and new products, as reported by Becker’s during the third quarter of 2024:

1. Stryker completed its acquisition of Nico Corp., a company focused on minimally invasive tumor and intracerebral hemorrhage procedures.

2. Stryker completed its acquisition of care.ai, a virtual care company.

3. The company introduced two new products, the Osteotomy Truss System and Ankle Truss System, to its foot and ankle portfolio. 

4. Stryker launched its Pangea plating system portfolio.

5. Stryker’s Q Guidance System with Spine Guidance 5 Software featuring Copilot earned 510(k) clearance from the FDA. 

6. The company reported an 8.5% year-over-year increase in net sales during the second quarter of 2024.

7. Stryker was named among the top 100 companies in the U.S. to work for in 2024.

8. Stryker completed its acquisition of Artelon, a company that develops soft tissue fixation products for sports medicine and foot and ankle procedures.
