Mercy grows orthopedic robotics team

Mercy Clinic Orthopedic Surgery – Ardmore (Okla.) has added orthopedic surgeon Aamir Bhimani, MD, to its practice.

Dr. Bhimani specializes in cutting-edge, robotic-assisted surgeries, according to a Sept. 17 press release. 

Dr. Bhimani uses the Mako robotic-assisted surgery system to perform partial and total knee replacements and total hip replacements. The system allows him to adjust patient plans during surgery, improve surgical accuracy and provide patients with faster recoveries.
