Dr. David Bizousky performs 100th robotic knee replacement

David Bizousky, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber (Pa.), has completed 100 robotic-assisted knee replacements.

Dr. Bizousky began using the Cori surgical system in April 2023, improving surgical accuracy and planning and offering personalized solutions for patients undergoing knee replacement procedures, according to a Sept. 10 news release from the practice. 

The robot offers patients quicker recovery times and offers increased accuracy and precision for physicians, the release said.
