Mercy Washington adds robotic knee replacements

Mercy Washington (Mo.) has added robotic-assisted knee replacements, according to a Sept. 9 report from the Warren County Record.

The technology will allow surgeons to carry out surgery based on each patient’s anatomy using presurgical 3D models and a camera and trackers during the procedure. 

Robotic procedures offer patients quicker recovery times, less blood loss and less time spent in the hospital, the report said.
