Dr. Kubeck founded Toms River, N.J.-based Ocean Pain and Spine, and he joins a growing network of spine surgeons in the trial who are assessing Nociscan’s artificial intelligence tool to diagnose back pain, according to a news release.
“I don’t ever just go in and do surgery,” Dr. Kubeck said in the release. “For me, developing the best treatment plan for an individual patient is very proceduralized. Once we determine the problem, then I say, ‘Here’s what you can expect, here are your options, and here is what we will decide together.’ Nociscan will be an invaluable decision support tool when evaluating diagnosis and treatment.”
Nociscan uses MRS data to help identify the source of chronic lower back pain.
