4 places adding spine, orthopedic robots since March

Since the beginning of March, Becker’s reported four hospitals adding spine and orthopedic robots.

1. Memorial Hospital in Carthage, Ill., added the Mako robot for hip and knee replacement.

2. Teaneck, N.J.-based Holy Name Medical Center added Globus Medical’s ExcelsiusGPS system.

3. Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic was the first place to use Zimmer Biomet’s Rosa Shoulder robot.

4. San Jose, Calif.-based Good Samaritan Hospital added the Excelsius GPS.
