Orthofix realigns spine business, names bone growth therapies leader

Orthofix is realigning its spine business unit effective March 1, and the company named Jason Shallenberger as president of the bone growth therapies business.

The bone growth therapies unit was under Orthofix’s spine segment, according to a Feb. 29 news release. As part of realignment bone growth therapies will be managed by Mr. Shallenberger, and spine will be managed under another president.

Mr. Shallenberger was previously vice president of U.S. sales and marketing for bone growth therapies. He joined the company in 2005 as a territory manager and held various leadership positions with the company.
