7 healthcare facilities adding orthopedic robots

Here are seven healthcare facilities that have added orthopedic robots that Becker’s has reported on since Oct. 23:

1. Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark., added Medtronic’s Mazor X spine robot.

2. San Jose, Calif.-based Good Samaritan Hospital added Zimmer Biomet’s Rosa robot for total joint replacement procedures. 

3. Integris Health Edmond (Okla.) Hospital added a Stryker Mako robot for joint replacement procedures.

4. Baltimore-based Mercy Medical Center added Zimmer Biomet’s PersonaIQ “smart implant” technology for knee replacement surgeries.

5. Jersey City (N.J.) Medical Center added the ExcelsiusGPS spine robot.

6. New Hartford-based Central New York Brain and Spine Neurosurgery added an ExcelsiusGPS robot for spine surgery in partnership with Rome (N.Y.) Health.

7. HCS Heart and Spine Hospital in Dallas added the Excelsius3D spine imaging system.
