Think Surgical names chief technology officer

Peter Verrillo was named Think Surgical’s chief technology officer, the orthopedic robotics company said Feb. 21.

Mr. Verrillo previously spent 10 years at Enhatch, an orthopedic device startup he founded in 2012, according to a news release. Before starting Enhatch, he founded Axiom Orthopaedics.

“[Mr. Verrillo] has a reputation for understanding the needs of orthopedic customers and bringing solutions to market which advance the standard of care,” Stuart Simpson, CEO of Think Surgical, said in the release. “His combined experience with implant development as well as image based personalized surgery solutions will be invaluable as we continue to build Think’s orthopedic robotic technology ecosystem.”
